I thought I was hallucinating when, turning out of the end of our road, I saw a giant shiny bright white Bentley humming behind a clapped out old taxi. I saw it the following day near the hospital. What is a Bentley doing in Bolga?I told Kwesi about the Bentley. He’d never heard of the make of car but nonetheless knew what I was talking about. The man, he told me, owns the beer bottle distribution facility in Bolga. He has relatives in the UK or America or somewhere like that. Perhaps they sent him the car.Perhaps. I just wonder how someone living in one of the poorest regions of one of the poorest countries on earth can justify driving around in a Bentley.
