It's my birthday today and I feel very priviledged celebrating in Zambia with some great people. I'm sure this birthday will definitly be a memorable one.I've already been given a lovely Zambian skirt in the style of a chitenge, similar to the one which I'm wearing in the photo above. I've received a bell for my bike and I had some pre-birthday celebrations at Mrs Banda's (my colleague)house. She cooked a delicious meal of rice, chicken, pumpkin leaves, nshima, tomatoes and Zambian style beef. Delicious. There was lots of music and dancing - thanks Mrs Banda.I'm now off this evening to celebrate with some VSOs and other expats at Rosie's barbecue.Thanks everyone for the best wishes and I look forward to uploading more Zambian photos and some video footage to the site soon.
