I’ve just celebrated my birthday and would to thank everyone who has sent me some birthday wishes.Unlike at home, where I would spend most of the day running around on my birthday, catching up with various people, my experience in Zambia is somewhat different, mainly due to the heat!Here I have to slow myself right down. It’s about 40 degrees and it’s hot. Every time I move I break into a sweat, so the best thing is to not move, so I’m glad that I took the wise decision to spend my birthday in the hammock in the garden under the mango tree. I think that’s a great way to spend a birthday!
