The Fun in the Son (not a typo so I guess son means Jesus) show was quite an eye opener. I was expecting church choirs singing words I could understand but it was a variety of gospel singers trying their own compositions in rock style. About the only words I occasionally understood were Hallelujah and Jesus. I didn't feel too bad when Myrna, who comes from Jamaica originally and even understands Patois, said that she could only make out a few words too.A person next to Myrna told her that she was just there for the beat and didn't know what was being sung either. Maybe it was just that the sound system was not too good where we were standing? But it was quite a crowd scene, like a rock concert with a whole soccer field filled with wall to wall people - there must have been 30,000 people there and only two roads in and out of the stadium. The lower photo was taken down the length of the soccer field and it was all full of people. The first photo was taken toward the stage and the small lit rectangle to the left of the screen was actually about 20 feet across.
