Here are Dominic Ali's photographs of Robert's farewell card game taken at Robert's cottage on Charlton Road. As you can see from the tree shot, we were playing Joker Rummy and the multi-talented Dominic was able to win that game as well as taking photos at the same time. The photos are Abdi and Robert under the mango tree. It's a novel idea having a couch outside - however this would not work well in Canada:The whole gang (Alan, Delphine, France and George) playing Joker Rummy with the exception of Robert who wasn't close enough for the bird's eye view, and Dominic who was taking the birds eye view. You are lucky to see this photo. If I had taken it you would just have got blurriness as I went earhward followed by clear photos from the Andrew's Memorial Hospital outpatients ward tomorrow:Who says beer and card games don't mix with culture. Here's a picture drawn by Delphine from Robert's stay in Jamaica. But then maybe there is not much culture in the next photo. I was minding my business when somehow two empty beer bottles were placed in front of me. A packet of cigarettes mysteriously ended up in front of Alan.Dominic has an alibi as he was holding the camera. All I can think of is that Annabelle snuck round from the back from looking after her eight puppies and placed them there. She is a talented dog.
