Heading back homeWhat a fantastic April we're experiencing. It feels like June with temperatures in the mid 20s...perfect! I love the Spring, I feel refreshed and revitalised just like the flowers, trees and vegetation, every thing's blooming. It so good to feel the sun on the skin, to relax listening to the sounds of the birds...our garden is alive with them.One of my favourite Spring flowers is the yellow Mimosa. At the moment the trees are in full blossom along my running route; the road toPerde' salifromVilla San Pietro.Heading to Perde' SaliBeing surrounded by these trees makes running a real pleasure, however they don't last long in full flower and in a couple of weeks they'll lose this yellow colour until next spring. The route has other views to offer including ripe olive trees in October, other types of pretty shrubs and great views of the mountains.Heading back to VSP
