It was a long 24 hour journey on the Radjhani Express from Delhi. 2AC (one down from 1st class) was relatively comfortable with plenty of food, although some over-attentive service from the bus boy was a bit annoying, but hey. There was no window to peer out of, ours was all frosted over, so I'll just have to make some more trips to see the scenery.Lingaraj Temple from a distance, Bhubaneswarpeople bathing in the Bindu Sagar lake, BhubaneswarI've been in Bhubaneswar for over a week now and so far I like it a lot. It's a reasonable sized city (over a million people I think) with everything you need - shops, markets, restauraunts and lots of temples ("the city of temples"). It feels quite rural in parts with tropical greenery and palm trees. The roads are still mental, dusty, full of honking and man-holes, but it feels more relaxed and friendly than Delhi. There's some splendid people and cow watching to be done and temperatures are nice mid 20s, so I have a few months to enjoy before summer takes hold.Indian roads: man carrying pane of glass on the back of a motorbike
