We arrived back into Rwanda at about 1am after finding another VSO volunteer, John, at the airport. We headed to Sharon’s who was very kindly letting us stay. The following morning, Pauline, Wendy and I headed to church (now named karaoke church by Pauline given the use of a projector for the songs). We saw Karen at church who invited us to her house later in the day for her house warming as she has now moved to Kigali. Before heading to Karen’s we went to meet Judy, a new volunteer who will also be living in Muhanga. She’s absolutely lovely. Pauline and I went to grab a quick bite to eat afterwards having forgotten that it takes two hours for food to arrive! It was lovely to see everyone at Karen’s and to catch up. And to play with her housemate’s very cute dog!
