The weekend's hash harrier run took us to the fascinating Colbeck Castle. An excellent little spot just 20 minutes west of Spanish Town. So quiet and peaceful after my first few days back in noisy Kingston. I was so happy in the peacefulness of the castle I stayed behind and let George and the rest of the harriers get their exercise. The castle was built as a defense against the Spanish and as an opulent home in an Italian style red brick construction. It felt more like being in Scotland than Jamaica. It's good to be back home in Jamaica.
