I couldn't resist sending this link (hope it works) because of the inspiring work of disadvantaged children who took action to help fellow Cambodians worse off than themselves. We are also pleased that the cool boutique hotels we've had the privledge if enjoying have joined forces with the Green Gecko Project children to put their ideas into action. It's moving stuff if you can bear it. The flooding is amazing here and we are lucky (so far) in Phnom Penh. In the countryside there is real suffering going on. Does the world's media give it any attention? The BBC shows items on the Thai flooding and the imminent threat to Bangkok but I haven't seen anything on Cambodia except in local news.If you do feel moved to donate, I can only say that the mangers of Hotel de la Paix and the Golden Banana are people we would trust and I applaud wholeheartedly their efforts to support these children and the local community. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.295812943765322.84472.119938424686109&type=3
