This morning we past Lake Powell a reservoir created by the Glen Canyon Dam, it's the second biggest man-made reservoir in the US. When you're at the dam and look down you notice that the water is a different colour either side...blue and the other green.Glen Canyon DamRoute to CanyonAfter lunch we toured Antelope Canyon. The tours are given by Navajo Indian guide. First you have to drive across sandy desert in a big wheeled off road truck for about 30 mins. At times it feels like you are going to end up just stuck in the sand! However, once at the Canyon our guide gave us an informative tour on where to take photos. What's fascinating about Antelope Canyon is that once inside the walls all look the same colours, yet once you start taking photos all the colours vibrantly emerge.Antelope canyonAntelope CanyonThe walls inside are so smooth, I just wanted to keep running my hand along the walls. I wasn't  surprised therefore when our guide informed us that the rock is renowned for its healing powers. Another fascinating place.
