Just a quick update...So I have been back nearly 2 weeks and the teaching is going well. The second year students are different to the first years and we have been doing lots of revision. I have been making posters and teaching aids to show the students and to brighten up the 2 classrooms.I found I was grumpy today and think it is for a number of reasons:1) I have not had running water for almost 2 weeks which is frustrating as it limits how much I am able to use. I need to get some delivered from the well...2) Still no rain and everything is dead in the garden, to make things worse people had been stealing stuff from the garden (like my peanuts and sweetcorn) before it died.3) Power this week has been sketchy only coming on now and then. Limits cooking and entertainment.4) I have not had any mail for over 6 weeks despite having lots posted out to me.5) Peter my good friend here is Mpwapwa is most likely going to have to go home because he has fallen out with his corrupt boss and the stupid systems he has to deal with.6) Staff keep coming into ICT and demanding help in a very rude manner - even when it is obvious that I am busy. Its possibly because Lubuva and Allan are away...7) And to make things worse, I went home for lunch and found someone has stolen my bucket and the sack my chicken food was kept in from my porch (they dumped the food on my porch... It might be my guard but I doubt it...)So it was getting to me a little bit today, I was feeling grumpy and not appreciated. I went around Thads for lunch and on the way home bumped into the caretaker who gave me some good news, he had a parcel for me!I went back to the TTC and saw that Mum has sent me some Easter eggs!! Thank you so much Mum it has turned the day around. The caramel egg melted (all over postcard!) but I ate all 3 anyway. I am saving the mini eggs and jelly beans for later.So while the chocolate is making me happy I will leave this post short, sweet and little chocolatey...Take care - another post will follow Monday with a more detailed update.
