Brikama United FC played a team from Senegal. Brikama lost. The manager and entire coaching team were sacked. It’s a funny old game…it’s suprising how quickly you get used to seeing children working, many of them in quite physical activities like welding and carrying wood…of course I wasn’t really looking forward to watching a couple of oiled-up, muscular men in briefs grappling with each other forthe entertainment of a baying crowd (that’s an ordinary Friday night in Brighton) but I suppose it was a teeny bit interesting after all…
