Want to see a Kenyan jump? Just try walking your dog down the street.My roommate and I are dog sitting and house sitting for some Canadian friends and they have the sweetest little dog who wouldn’t hurt a flee. But, dogs in Kenya are usually used as guard dogs and most Kenyans utterly fear them. (The concept of a family pet, isn’t very prevalent here.)So when we take her on a walk down the street on her leash, other pedestrians usually either cross the road or, if you catch them off guard, jump back in fear. It's really really hard not to laugh!
