But you would not have known it on Pemba!! Santa does not visit as the poplation is 99.9% Muslim!Currently in Dar, preparing to travel to Mwanza, on the shores of Lake Victoria to meet Liz and her friend.Earlier this week we had the AVC (annual volunteer conference) and the last 48 hours I was suffering from a stomach bug.All OK now and have bought my bus ticket for my 16 hour bus ride from Dar to Mwanza which leaves on the 23rd.A proper update will follow...Take care and have a fantastic Christmas and New Year.Miss you all! Especially the family, you are never far from my thoughts.
