This is the committee for our newly created mothers' association at Maga. Creating a committee can be a bit difficult, as there can be a shortage of women who can write to fill the posts of President, secretary and treasurer, especially in the smaller villages. Mother's meetings here are really fun because the women are often really enthusiastic about getting to have ameeting, and are also a bit like a creche, because at least half the women bring babies which they swap round between them every so often. Meanwhile lots of older kids will creep round the back so they can stare at the white woman...
