My house in Maga. I live in about three quarters of the round bit and the Sultan's reception room is in the rectangular bit. The house is very unusual because it has stripy brickwork, and there is generally no use of decorative architecture here; I think it's because it belongs to the Sultan.  The neighbours who live over the road. They're all wearing their best clothes in this picture because it was taken at the festival at the end of Ramadan. Problematically this year the end of Ramadan coincided with the beginning of the school year, so a lot of people struggled to pay secondary school fees or expenses such as pens and exercise books because they had bought new clothes for the festival.
