Charlotte Falls

We managed to steal a car on Sunday and went in search of Charlotte, a village in the jungle just outside Freetown. There were rumoured to be great waterfalls there, and sure enough, once we'd bargained our way through the village, we found them. In case you're wondering why Maro isn't being washed away in the picture above, it's because she's sitting in a perfectly formed well in the rock, about 3 feet deep.We had a picnic, went for a swim, got very sunburnt and scrambled up the falls higher than we should have. A very nice day out.
