We had a lovely walk along Lumley beach in the West end of Freetown this weekend. This is where thousands of locals gather to meet and play football. It's a 5 minute ride from where we live - so we're incredibly lucky. Other beaches further south, like Lakka, are reportedly even more beautiful, although they're quite hard to get to on the rough coastal road. But for an easy Sunday afternoon, this'll do nicely.
