I'm back Nairobi!

I arrived back in Kenya one week ago, after a wonderful vacation to Canada. My return was delayed by a couple of days due to severe weather in the UK, but this was good news as it allowed me to enjoy 2 more days with my family and friends at home.I was surprised at just how great it felt to walk back into our apartment on Tuesday night and I've really enjoyed catching up with my various groups of friends here. Last week was a very social week - having nothing planned when I arrived late Tuesday night, somehow I found myself invited to get togethers every single day until yesterday. I had an absolute ball with parties ranging from outdoor 5-course meals under the stars to afternoon backyard barbeques.What a great start to my last year in Kenya!
