Back in the swing of things

As much as my first week back was full of parties, my second week has been quiet with days spent at the Kenya Union of the Blind and evenings getting the apartment reorganized, cooking, doing yoga and reading.Other than readjusting from the minus 20 temperatures to the 30 degree temperatures here, it’s been a pretty smooth transition.Now that KUB’s 50th anniversary celebrations are over, my workload is down to a reasonable level and, with just 9 months left in Kenya, I am focusing completing all of the projects I have committed to.The traffic, chaotic matatu driving, and being approached for money nearly every day feels almost normal again too.All in all, it's nice to be back, but now that my time here is more than 50% complete it has a different feeling.
