A day of networking

Today, I spent the entire day in town and Westlands meeting with different organizations to try and establish new relationships and learn more about potential partnership opportunities. It proved to be a very successful day, with promising potential for my organization. I really enjoy being out of the office networking, much more than sitting in front of my computer doing research or writing 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.And it is HOT here right now. It’s just a little too hot, but it’s dry heat and I know I’m going to miss it in a few months when the rains come (hopefully they come this year!).It’s been one of my favourite and most productive work days in a while, once again proving the importance of getting out from behind your computer screen and meeting face to face!
