Patricia and Laura invited us to their JIM (Joint Introduction Meeting) because of the organisational assessment component of their work.I enjoy the rural outlook from their house.Some last-minute additional summary flipcharts in Laura's elegant script. Madam Director welcomes all the staekholders to the meeting - representatives of everone they work with. I find a role as a flipchart stand.They each introduce the proposed objectives - a couple are in common.Because of their excellent prparation, we can involve everyone in proposing actions to fulfil the ojectives - six discussion groups move round the six objectives flipcharts, with Patricia, Laura, Charlotte& me, and VSO Education staff Eric and Ubald the six fixed points. The groups are happy to include the OD activities that Patricia has advised me that she thinks she will need.This all works very well, based on the briefing we were able to give them the day before on the VSO expectations for the day and the preparation that they were able to do as a result.Back home for writing up and checking email. Some children visit and are rewarded with the opportnity to draw some pictures.
