The elusive stray cat in our compound which often looks at me through the window came calling this morning celebrating our 3rd month anniversary of being in Jamaica. He actually came right inside our apartment as I was reading my book near the open front door. But when I looked up he quickly darted back out. I put out a bowl of milk and he drank that in half a second (when I wasn't looking of course), but I was able to get a photo of him peaking around the wall at me before he scurried off again.Bernadette and Igor have a stray cat family at their complex which have all been named by Sophia and Elliot. Bernadette laughs that all the families in the complex have completely different names for each of the kittens. Their compound stray family are not afraid of people and as you can see below Ginger comes right inside and sits on their laps. Ginger is like a house cat but with a family that lives outside like a cat should.Compound cats have a good life.
