As a result of a business opportunity I helped identify and negotiate for KIDA Handcrafts, which is run by a group of visually impaired persons in the slums of Kibera and Dagoretti, they received an order of 80 lampshades from a hotel in Nairobi. At more than US$5 each, this is pretty significant money for the group.It's the 'small wins' that keep me motivated here. The bigger picture results will come through too, I'm confident, but the small stuff can be so satisfying.
