Every day the Dalai Lama posts a message of wisdom on Facebook. I thought today's message accurately reflects what CUSO-VSO volunteers do. Since I'm not a CUSO-VSO volunteer myself, just a spouse, I thought I could share this with our readers because I believe the CUSO-VSO volunteers are living by the Dalai Lama's advice for today, every day. They are actively engaged in guiding our global family."In the present circumstances, no one can afford to assume that someone else will solve their problems. Each one of us has a responsibility to help guide our global family in the right direction.
