Local beach at Perd'e Sali and Porto Columbu

I thought I'd share some photos of my local beach. Only 3kms from my home in Villa San Pietro, just a short bike ride away. The beach is pebbly, quite comfortable to lie on with a beach towel, yet as you enter the water your feet touch lovely soft sand. It's the best place to be when the mistral wind is blowing as you don't get covered in grains of sand!! It's not my favourite beach of course, you have so many beautiful ones to choose from in this part of the world but it's convenient for my location if you want to spend an hour or two chilling, swimming and meditating in the crystal clear waters. Facing the water and running along the back of the beach you find stylish villas. Most of them are used only during the summer months but some people reside there all year round. One of the things I love to do is walk hip height in the water the distance of the beach. As well as relaxing it's also great exercise for the legs.
