The Last Seasons of "Dallas"

A good friend (who may just be a little too honest!) wrote me yesterday saying that my blog has become like the last couple of seasons of the TV series‘Dallas’.  For those who aren’t quite as old as this friend and might not be familiar with Dallas, that is not a compliment! :-)    Since returning to Kenya, my social life hasn’t been as active as usual as I was quite sick, have been applying to Masters programs and starting to look for a job.  I’ll try and spice up the stories now that I’m back on track again!  Despite being sick, during the past few weeks I’ve been to a few good bye parties, ranging from fancy house parties to a night out at a pub.  That’s the nature of living in Nairobi - the turnover of friends is just a little too high and it looks like I’m the next on the list to go.  (But my party might be the most fun… we have a day of go-karting planned!)   With only 5 weeks left, I’m hoping to go to the Coast one last time and to the Mount Kenya region.  So stay tuned…  I’ll try to recover and will aim for a good season finale!
