Views at NoraCycling at this time of year is best either early in the morning or early evening just before dusk. The average temperature is 31/32C, so it's just too hot to enjoy a bike ride in the middle of the day. Peddling to Nora in the early evening you create for yourself a lovely breeze which cools you down after the heat of the day. I love Nora at that time of the day as the sun sets across the mountains behind the beach, you find the odd boat bobbing  gently up and down on the water. My cycling companion LauraMe taking a breather at NoraIt's vital to put on the mosquito repellent, this year I am getting bitten all times of the day as here in Italy we now have the tiger mosquitoes which are active during the daytime. It's great to have a cycling companion who loves to do what you do. Laura is a friend who also loves cycling and we occasionally run together too. However, I love to go out on my own as well, as I love the contact with nature. When I'm alone I feel a stronger connection with the natural environment and feel at one with the mountains, the sea and the trees. It's a great way to reconnect with yourself, a form of mediation which  I need away from the distractions of mind stuff. One thing I must get are lights fitted on my bike. Cycling back home just before nightfall without lights is not a clever way to travel!!
