Free introductory bet: So what have I got!!??After my fall I started with the very nice VSO Dr. then went to their clinic of choice for x rays. I was told it was a fractured ankle and saw a (very nice) Khmer doc at the private hospital used by VSO in Phnom Penh, who confirmed this and put me in plaster but I went back today as I was worried about some symptoms (my toes). I saw a different doc (Thai - seemed more experienced) who did more x rays then said there's no break it's a ligament injury! He went through the x rays with me - on his computer - impressive.He's given me lot's of drugs to help the swelling and pain and bruise colour I was worried about so let's hope they work!I m staying at the Pavilion until the weekend then the Kabiki Hotel round the corner. I have another check up next Wed. Sept. 1st.If you've been keeping up you might know why it feels like deja vu all over again!!! Remember the gastroenteritis that was really appendicitis last summer??!! Feels as if I'm difficult to diagnose!!I didn't take last weeks x rays when I went this time as the hotel are storing them for me so today's doc wants to see then the next time to check the diagnosis.So which will it be: odds on favourite for ligament, evens for both or outside chance it was a break all along!!??I wouldn't bet on it!!!PS.
