I am reliably informed by two of my gracious readers (I'm sounding like Jane Austin now!) that the weather in England has been a sit in the garden balmy and not a shivering 7 degrees. Seems like igoogle is not to be trusted! Maybe it was that cool sometime recently. I shared this with the waitress but she was still horror struck by 20 degrees-I wish you could see the expression on their faces - it's a bit like when you put something down then turn round and it's gone! - surely it can't be that cold!
