Well, the fun thing about a blog is you get to meet new, interesting people. I have just met Cameron O'Brian, one of the drummers at the Drums 4 Peace event we went to a couple of weekends ago. He played a tambourine like a talking drum and a djembe. Turns out he is from Bar Harbor, Maine. It's been awhile since we were there. The last time was when we travelled to Nova Scotia on "The Cat" which used to run between Bar Harbor and yarmouth. It was a high speed catamaran car ferry that has since been taken out of service. One run was enough for me - George and I were 2 of 3 passengers able to refrain from sea sickness. It was wild. We were glad we didn't book a return journey.Cameron also told me how to spell Jah Mekka. See Jah Mekka at: http://mwapoleni-bunty.blogspot.com/2010/08/drums4-peace.html
