We were supposed to go to the Memorial Centre today but the surprise bank holiday meant that it was closed. VSO quickly arranged other options and I chose to go to the swimming pool. It was lovely just to be able to relax by the pool, although we weren’t impressed that weather turned cloudy just as we arrived! The in-country training is very useful and important but it is also a lot of work so an afternoon just reading and swimming was just what I needed.The evening was chilled as well - all of us in the living room with our computers. A very relaxing day indeed.
