... or more accurately Croydon.Yesterday saw me spend nine hours- that's rightnine hours- shopping for all the bits and bobs that I need for my placement. As anyone who knows me knows, I hate shopping. However, after hours of trailing round outdoor shops and phone shops and passport photo shops and many more I actually felt quite pleased with myself for getting everything done. I was feeling less pleased with myself when Pete and I were still packing at 2am- having had to restart after I (too late) remembered that we were supposed to pack a change of clothes etc in our hand luggage in case our bags went awol. We did have sticky toffee pudding with ice cream to celebrate finishing the packing though and, even though we could barely keep our eyes open, pudding has never tasted so good!
