Following months of uncertainty due to my irregular heart beat (it would appear nothing about me is 'normal') I received confirmation today that I am able to go to Rwanda with VSO. I am due to leave on Saturday i.e. in three days time. As I had (almost) resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't going I now have a lot to sort out. Instead I am babysitting (or more accurately being babysat by) my sisters and facebooking and emailing friends and family as this is a lot more interesting than packing and allows me to delay the shock and nervousness that will no doubt hit me when it sinks in that I am going to Rwanda!
