The answer to the question 'how do you eat an elephant?' is the obvious... one bite at a time. I am starting to feel like that about my VSO preparations. I still have a huge amount to get done but slowly the list of things that I have completed, or at least got underway is growing.One of those is getting my jags and ordering my anti-malarial tablets. All done now except for Yellow Fever vaccine that my GP practise does not stock. Since I had two jags yesterday, one in each arm perhaps it is fortunate that I can give my pincushion body a rest before subjecting it to more. Anti-malarial tablets, VSO gave me a choice of two different ones, both can have side effects, I can choose which set to possibly expose myself to but most of them do not sound worse than malaria!
