Into every life a little rain must fall. It's been raining almost solidly for three days now. Even slugs are seeking shelter - we found a 4 inch long slug inside our house this morning when we woke up. It looked like it had climbed in through the hurricane shutters. The rain has been so heavy these past few days that I looked up the Jamaican climate charts on the web to find out if this is typical. And yes, it seems September and October are annually the months with the most rainfall. It's almost double what May/June brought and I thought that was heavy at the time, so I'd warn any potential visitors about coming to Jamaica in October which ranked as the month with the highest accumulation of rainfall. I'm just glad I've got my arm in a sling...I feel less guilty about snuggling up in my wicker day bed surrounded by comfy cushions, nursing my shoulder, while reading all day until the sun returns.http://www.all-jamaica.com/jamaica/climate.html
