I had a phone conversation yesterday with Vicky my placement advisor and it all looks set now, with my placement in Nairobi and the Kenyan Society for the Blind starting in July. This good news has so far had two unfortunate consequences.Firstly I was so pleased that I posted off a set of Open University marking scores straight afterwards and forgot to include the reciepts for my expenses, then to make matters worse I realised this and posted them off in a second envelope but included an exam script that I should not have sent ! oh well, I will have to give them a grovelling apology and straighten things out on Monday. Secondly the comforting illusion that I was starting to get on top of things has been shattered by the arrival of yet more forms. So much for feeling smug when I got my medical done last week. The doctor peered at his computer screen and said in suprise ' I have not seen you since 1995!' and then went on to pass me fit. Up coming treats for readers of this blog will include training courses, getting my jags (hepatitis) and letting out my flat, you might wish for July to come round and the interesting stuff to start but I have more than enough to do before then.
