Farewell Laura, we'll all miss your happy little giggle and ability to always get the best price. But my first impression of you was on our way to Treasure Beach on Easter Weekend when our taxi broke down and we were marooned in a car repair/car wash parking lot. George and I had only been in the country one week, still unsure of ourselves so stayed close to the group by the taxi looking suspiciously at the Bus Bar parked across the parking lot. Then, quietly you wandered over, entered, and stayed inside awhile. Eventually you came out with a smile on your face and a Red Stripe in your hand. I was sold, I decided to go inside myself and found 3 or 4 very nice and generous people all sitting around watching a tiny television with terrible reception. But happy and fun? Within a few minutes we were all sitting in a row outside the Bus Bar drinking Red Stripes (well I wasn't but they did give me a rum drink which I remember Dominic Bertrand had to dilute for me with Coke). That was my first memory Laura, there have been countless since and I know we'll catch up again in the future.I realize the picture above is really of Robert having his hair braided, but he was an important part of your life while you were here and I wanted to share it with you. Good luck, Laura, and have fun in Denmark.
