Going to the beach today was the perfect way to relieve the stress from yesterday. The beach was much busier this week than it was on our last visit to Fort Clarence two weeks ago - the water was also colder. The last few times we have gone the water just seems to get colder and colder, but it's the Caribbean and still a lot warmer than any lake in Canada. It only takes a second to warm up and drying off afterwards is equally instant.Below is our lunch prepared by Alex which was nice and spicey. Being today's catch it was as fresh as coul be - one parrotfish and 4 goat tailed snappers. At the end of the afternoon we walked from Fort Clarence Beach to Hellshire Beach below. We were originally told two weeks ago it was too dangerous for us to do this walk but we were a group of 5 so felt perfectly safe. It only took 15 minutes and yet the two beaches are as different as night and day. Fort Clarence has life guards, showers and only two places to eat, Hellshire has dozens of places to eat, sells candy floss and has inner tubes for rent to float in. We all agreed that kids and teenagers would much prefer the hustle and bustle of Hellshire over the quietness of Fort Clarence. When we arrived we noticed some men hard at work connecting the second story to this building made out of old containers. It will be interesting to go back in a few weeks to see what they've done with it.Waiting for the bus to take us home we noticed a group of vultures but as I walked towards them to take their photo, all but these two flew away.It was a much better day than yesterday.
