I’ll try to keep the moaning to a minimum today but the blog just wouldn’t be complete without it!I was watchingThe Sopranosthe other day and there was this one scene that I could really relate to.‘Exactly how similar are the lives of a VSO volunteer and New Jersey mobster?’ I hear you ask.Well, it’s uncanny really - after a day at the office I often like to go and shake down some local Joe for my cut. And don’t get me started on the number of times I’ve had to go and clip some guy at VSO’s behest! So, let me set the scene...Vito, having left his mob life behind and tried to reinvent himself in some classy New Hampshire town, is labouring as a handyman and finding the change of pace a struggle.Vito saws wood in a quiet, frosty yard.VITO: 10.30, gotta be.            Hour and a half: lunch. The halfway f***ing point.            Don’t look at your watch, not yet. Save it, treat yourself.Time passes. Vito holds a box of nails.VITO: Ten to 11, maybe five of.            Don’t look.            Think of those sandwiches Jim made; when you’ve eaten the last bite, this f***ing day is halfway gone.Time passes. Vito is nailing the wood to a barn doorway.VITO: 11.30, has to be– look at the angle of the sun. Maybe even a quarter to 12.            Ok, look.            Now.Vito looks at watch. Time shows 9.55am.VITO (aloud): F**K ME!
