A busy week in work this week as we conducted a strategy workshop to gather the thoughts and ideas of our beneficiaries, staff, board and partners. On Friday we left work early because... we were being given a fridge and an oven!! I say give, they’re just on loan for a couple of months until our friend John returns to Rwanda to claim them, but we were very excited! We celebrated by making garlic bread!A group of us went to Butare at the weekend for John’s leaving do which included Chinese food. Surprisingly I was exhausted and had left Space Place by midnight. Very early for a Space Place night! Unfortunately when I returned home from Butare on Sunday, after a day of hanging out at the pool in Butare, it was to be greeted by a massive flood in my room caused by the torrential rain. Fortunately Geri very kindly cleared most of it for me.
