And the answer to the question of the day:What ever happened to Laurent Nkunda? ;)Well, I'm going on a little trip - only a very wee one. Down to see my friend Graeme in Bath and whisk him away (if my plan goes according to...err, plan) on a Christmasy magical mystery tour.Last night, my old school friend Danielle (*waves*) was in the village and we ended up getting a little trollied down theWard Arms. It was most excellent to see her and my first foray into a social life since being back :opHad a great time but had to get up really early this morning for a job interview.It was with a local (not national, as first thought) Deaf organisation. It's only a part-time temp. job but it would get me out of the house and keep the CV ticking over.Not sure if I got it yet but feeling very positive and even if I didn't it was really nice to meet the people there and get the interview experience. It was nice and relaxed whilst at the same time thorough - so it was good to come away feeling that I'd handled myself well. See what comes of it.And now I'm escaping for the night, back tomorrow for the annual Burbidge family gathering (mum's side) on Sunday.It's quite a long way to Bath from here - about two-and-a-half hours, but Graeme's worth it, and I need a break from the village ;)I also managed to dig up the subwoofer and speaker system I put into storage two years ago. Aswad'sDancehall Moodsounds even better when the floor is moving ;)Plus, blast from the past, I ordered a copy of one of the best chick-flicks ever made:Something Newwhich I first discovered last Christmas, thanks to Hirut. One year on and it's still one of the bestest feel-good films ever ;)Things are rolling along - and I quite like road trips, quality time with the radio.Have a great weekend everybody!xPS - Remember themonkey attack?
