The Tribal Convention that I attended was for a serious reason. The people were gathering to discuss their issues and what they were doing about them or what they wanted to do about them. However, it's also a good opportunity to have a bit of a celebration; there's nothing like a good get-together for making some entertainment. Adivasi entertainment is fun. It can be very noisy, sometimes a little disconcerting like when I found myself whisked up in the middle of a group of ladies dancing their way across to lunch but we all had a good time. Adivasis have talent, everyone joined in the singing (except for me, all I could do was clap along to the rhythm when I wasn't using my camera)
