hi everyoneI've got my own blog! WOO!Something so incredibly self-indulgent in writing about nothing but yourself. I think I will love it.Anyway, so today is Sunday and this time in a week I will be in Cameroon. Feels sort of wild. Got a bit teary eyed this morn but I think I will save mine 'til Saturday night when the sleepless night and airport goodbye and the realisation that I really am going this alone start to hit home.Spending a year in a place you've never given more than a passing thought to, well it just feels so... exhilarating. I really have no idea what awaits! (Time frame on how long it takes for this pre-departure euphoria to transform into gut wrenching misery and solitude? Difficult to say at this stage.)Guess that's why I chose to start my blog today, at home. So at least when everything else feels new and different and faraway, this can serve as my constant. Kind of.Can't wait to update ya!CS
