I've been in Zambia for 8 months now and time is flying by. I'm enjoying Zambia, its people, the landscape and even the food, which I've now been able to get used to. I ate caterpillars for the first time last month and have been enjoying delights such as African polony, chiwawa (pumpkin leave relish) and now its the season for Maize, so am enjoying Nshima most days now and I think I will even miss the taste of Nshima when I go home.World Cup Football is coming to Africa soon and everyone is in high spirits despite the fact that Zambia didn't get through. It's a privilege to be in Africa during the time of the world cup. Everyone is talking about it - White, Black,Indian,Zambian, South African, Rich and Poor - most people you speak to here are just glad that the World Cup is finally in Africa!
