A week with fellow VSO volunteers in Lusaka

Last week I attended 'callback' in Lusaka. Callback is run by VSO and is a 5 day workshop with the aim of providing all recent volunteers to Zambia the opportunity to be finally 'inducted'. It was quite strange being invited to attend a workshop all about settling in as I feel that I've been here for years, but it provided a great opportunity to share stories and experiences with my fellow volunteers and to also see how much of us have changed over the last year. I think after 5 days of catching up we've all come to realise that Zambia is a great place with friendly, welcoming people and that the volunteer community has been great when providing support to each other during the challenging times!!
