After a really enjoyable week of travelling around the UK catching up with friends (and my brother) we'd thought we wouldn't see again for ayear or so, it's back to a week of sofa surfing around Norfolk and Suffolk (we're always open to offers!) as the wait continues for our visas. The day in the Cairngorms and Aviemore was quite an experience - I'd never felt what a 100mph wind felt like until I walked out of the Base Camp at Ben Thingamajiggery....with an added spice of snow. But the adventure was well worth it - notwithstanding visiting friends and sights....but returning with a bottle of Dalwhinnie - just as the snow starts to fall this week!So, where to next? Plan B??
