It feels quite strange to be here at Christmas time. Of course, it was never going to be the same as Christmas in the UK, notwithstanding the comparitive warmth we have in Delhi, the religious focus of the Country means that it isn't celebrated in the the Country quite the same way......1) No drunken Christmas parties2) No Christmas turkey3) No endless rounds of shopping expeditions4) No Queen's Speech5) No arguments as to whether to what the Corrie or Eastenders xmas specials.Instead, we'll be ensconced at the Le Meridien in Delhi for a little bit of luxury (e.g. a shower and a comfy bed!) and pampering (and a hot bath to remove several layers of dirt).Still, we are pleased to report that we havehad a visit from Father Christmas! "Surely not the real one?" you're probably thinking. But it was! or at least he looks fairly similar to the chap that puts in an appearance at Wymondham's Dickensian Evening each year as seen on the horse drawn carriage.Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and thanks to all our friends and family for your support.Thinking of you allDaniel and Katie
